Settle Prep helps people prepare for the two tests most people take before they settle in the UK or become British: the Life in the UK test and the English speaking and listening test.
What we do
- Plain-English guides to the rules and the tests, checked against GOV.UK, the Immigration Rules and the exam boards' own pages. Every guide shows the date we last checked it and links to its sources.
- A free speaking check: a short spoken practice with an AI examiner that gives you a practice estimate of your level and the three things to work on.
- Data, such as how many people take the Life in the UK test and how many pass, taken from Home Office statistics.
What we don't do
- We don't give immigration advice. We can explain what the rules say in general. We can't tell you what applies to you. For that, check GOV.UK or find a regulated adviser with the Immigration Advice Authority.
- We don't book tests or sell certificates. Book your Life in the UK test on GOV.UK and your English test with the test provider.
- We're not official. Settle Prep isn't connected to the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration, Trinity College London, IELTS, LanguageCert, Pearson or any other exam board.
- We don't promise a pass. Our speaking feedback is a practice estimate, not an official result.
